Payer Guide
What is a RIN and why do I need one?
Understanding your Rate Identification Number.
A RIN (Rate Identification Number) is a unique ID assigned to you when you are registered as a payer. It identifies you in the revenue system and is required to pay bills, view receipts, and access the self-service portal. Your RIN appears on every demand notice sent to you. If you have never received a demand notice and believe you should be registered, contact your revenue authority office.
