My bill amount looks wrong

How to dispute or query a bill amount.

If the amount on your demand notice does not match what you expect, it may include outstanding balances from previous periods, penalties for late payment, or revenue types you were not aware of. Review the bill breakdown carefully, as each revenue type is listed separately. If you believe there is an error, contact your revenue authority office directly with your TIN and the bill reference number.

  1. 1Open the bill and check the itemised breakdown.
  2. 2Note whether the amount includes previous outstanding balances or penalties.
  3. 3If you believe the amount is incorrect, write down your TIN and the bill reference number.
  4. 4Contact your revenue authority office in person, by phone, or by email.
  5. 5A staff member will review and correct the bill if there is an error.
