Field Guide
Field officer quick reference
Everything you need to know for your day in the field: registering payers, recording payments, scanning QR codes, and handling common situations.
📋Your daily workflow
Start of dayLog in to the Revenue Cone mobile site. Check your assigned payer list for outstanding visits.
Arriving at a payerConfirm the payer's name and TIN against your list. If they have no TIN, register them (see below).
Collecting paymentFor bank transfer or mobile money, open the payer profile, tap Record Payment, enter the amount, and select the correct method. For card or USSD, use the payment link or gateway flow when your organisation has it enabled. A receipt is generated when the payment is recorded.
Scanning a QR codeIf the payer wants to pay online, open their demand notice and tap the QR code icon or share the payment link. They complete the payment on their own device.
End of dayAll records sync automatically. No manual submission is needed. Your supervisor sees your activity in real time.
➕Registering a new payer
Step 1Go to Payers and tap Add New Payer.
Step 2Enter the payer's full name, phone number, and address. Select the ward they belong to.
Step 3Select the revenue types they are liable for (e.g. Business Premises Levy, Signage Fee).
Step 4Optionally add a photo of the premises and GPS location using your device.
Step 5Tap Submit. If approval is required, the registration enters a pending queue. A TIN is issued once your admin approves it.
